Nine To Five$NTF

§ Assignment Board

Five categories, three slots

Performance Points gate every promotion and no amount of $NTF buys them. You hold three assignments at a time, pay a fee in $NTF to take each one, and forfeit the fee if the window closes without a pass.

Slots

3

Three assignments run at once. A slot frees when the attempt is judged, or when the window expires and anyone books the Write-Up.

Category cooldown

48hours

Counted per category from the moment you take the work, not from the moment you finish it. Three slots, but never three of the same kind.

Below your rank

25%

What work pitched below the rank you already hold pays, as a share of nominal. Seniority does not get to farm the easy end of the board.

Write-Ups to a plan

3

Three failures inside one 30-day season opens a Performance Improvement Plan. Write-Ups expire with the season; the plan does not.

The five categories

nominal points

Desk Work

10 – 60

Intern and up

Auto-verified on-chain

Single actions the contract can check itself: lock LP, survive eight rounds, hit a volume.

Field Work

60 – 200

Associate and up

Four-step chain, 72h window

Miss a step and the chain zeroes. No partial credit — and one completed chain lifts a PIP.

Team Quota

80 – 250

Associate and up

Departmental, weekly

Twelve or more employees of one employer, each carrying at least 4%. One whale cannot cover the room.

Exam

100 – 300

Manager and up

Commit-reveal, 8 of 10 to pass

Answers are hashed before the window closes, so nobody can copy whoever sat it first.

Market Call

50 – 400

Director and up

Pyth, one week out

Call your employer's close inside a band. ±0.5% pays 400; a miss burns the fee.

Taking an assignment

You take a listing against a badge, and the fee leaves your balance at that moment. Deliver inside the window and the points are credited and the fee is paid into the payroll pool, where it becomes somebody's salary. Miss it and the fee is burned and the badge is written up. No route returns it — the forfeited fee is the entire anti-spam budget, so it has to be real.

The board rotates Mondays at 00:00 UTC. Closing an expired attempt is permissionless because a dead slot left occupied is a working slot kept free — the Write-Up lands whether or not you come back for it.

Rank multiplier

on nominal

Intern1.0×
Analyst1.0×
Associate1.4×
Manager2.0×
Director2.8×
VP4.0×
SVP4.0×
CEO6.0×

Applied to the listing's nominal points. Work pitched below the rank you already hold is then cut to 25% of that result. Both apply, in that order.

Points to promote

lifetime, per badge

Analyst40
Associate120
Manager300
Director700

CEO5,000

Points accumulate for the life of the badge and are never spent. A Fast-Tracked badge is charged 50% more points on Manager → Director alone — it earns no faster, it owes more.

Nothing here survives a sale

Write-Up, then plan

A failed submission and an unanswered window are the same event on the record: the fee burns and a Write-Up goes on the badge. Three of them inside one season opens a Performance Improvement Plan — 14 days, 0.8× Payday weight, promotions frozen.

Penalties reset with the badge

Points, Write-Ups, the plan and any assignment still in flight are keyed to the badge, and transferring it erases all four. A buyer inherits an empty ledger and a clean record, which is the same promise the rank reset makes.
